Welcome
to the website for the Geo-Institute of ASCE Colorado Graduate Student
Organization (GSO). The organization’s major objectives
are as follows:
- Engage current geotechnical students in a meaningful organization, founded on the basis of common interests and a desire to learn about geotechnical topics
- Coordinate outreach efforts in order to spark interest in geotechnical. engineering amongst undergraduate engineering students, K-12 students, and in the local community.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff members, and existing engineering groups on campus to provide a better engineering experience for students at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
NEWS:
3-3-14: 8 CU Boulder students traveled to the annual Geo-Congress geotechnical engineering conference in Atlanta, GA. Students presented papers which had been accepted for publication via interactive poster presentations, attended technical sessions, networked with industry professionals and met other geotechnical engineering students from all over the world. Additionally, David Provost was invited to participate in the national Geo-Predictions competition.
